Experience the past with the Historical Society and living history artisans as they demonstrate colonial period crafts. Artisans’ crafts include tin smithing, blacksmithing, chair caning, candle making, weaving, quilting, and scrimshaw powder horn carving. Guests will be able to interact with the artisans, ask questions, and see first-hand how a local colonial artisan may have earned his or her living. Depending on the artisan, products may be available for sale.
During FallFest weekend, join the fun at Emerald Hill-City Hall, on Saturday, September 23rd, 10am-4pm. The event will be located on the grounds of the historic mansion at 1838 Emerald Hill Lane Westminster, MD 21157. Free admission. For more information, call 410-848-6494 or visit our website and Facebook.
