In recognition of the sacrifice made by military personnel who died serving their country and defending American freedoms and values, the History Project asked Carroll County residents to share letters written home from lost soldiers at war. These are some of the stories we recorded and we feel honored to share with our community.

This year marks the 150th Memorial Day Parade in Carroll County.  The Community Media Center,  in partnership with the American Legion Post 31, will provide LIVE online coverage of both the parade and the Memorial Service to follow at the Westminster Cemetery on May 29, 2017.
